Site re-design and re-build
It has recently been the case that many high profile sites are realising that while an entirely Flash based solution may look good, they tend to be harder to update and do not best serve their audience. This is not to say that Flash sites don't have their place, but the decision is or should now be based more around the online strategy requirements.
In order to provide their customers with a more friendly and useful service, H Samuel re-placed their Flash site with one built on these CSS templates. Developed at Wheel from the excellent creative and IA brief the templates were implemented in-house at H Samuel and provide a faster, more intuitive and user accessible site.
The beauty of the CSS layout is that the in-house team can take the templates and develop them very easily for specific campaigns. In addition a major advantage of CSS is the ability to correctly format pages for print, something that in the past has been sadly overlooked.
