Corporate accessibility policy micro-site
Marks & Spencer in launching an awareness campaign for their equal opportunites accessiblity and employment policies chose to develop a micro site specifically highlighting these issues and taking advantage of AAA accessibility requirements to demonstrate this point.
The site uses CSS layouts to provide a fast, efficient and accessible source of information for this campaign. The stength of this site and the use of CSS is apparent when considering that this was originally developed as a stand alone micro-site that has since been integrated into the corporate site and therefore into the existing layout. This was made relatively easy to achieve with a few minor adjustments to the stylesheets once the pages were updated with the additional content.
The corporate site as a whole has now also been re-built to meet accessibility requirements.
